Gang intervention: What does it mean? What does it look like? What can CASAs and other caring adults do to help?
Join us for a special presentation from Willie Stokes. As an integral member of our county’s juvenile gang intervention team, Mr. Stokes comes with a wealth of experience.  The presentation will cover topics that relate to our role as CASAs. The themes we hope to cover include how to best support a young person who has been exposed to gangs, how to have an impact, and what issues should the CASA keep in mind.

Continuing Education

CASA volunteers are required to complete 12 hours of continuing education each fiscal year (July1-June 30).  Please let your Supervisor know if you have read, watched, or listened to anything that we offer or that you have found on your own.
