This state mandate prohibits CASA Volunteers from engaging in the following activities:

(1) Taking a child or non minor to the CASA volunteer’s home;

(2) Giving legal advice or therapeutic counseling;

(3) Giving money or expensive gifts to the child, non minor, or family of the child or non minor;

(4) Being related to any parties involved in a case or being employed in a position and/or agency that might result in a conflict of interest; and

(5) Any other activities prohibited by the local juvenile court
