Non-Monetary Donations

CASA volunteers know that their time is the most valuable gift they can give to the youth they serve. However for particular occasions, CASA volunteers do like to treat their court involved youth to an extra special gift. We are grateful to receive donations of games, toys, headphones, speakers, and more so our volunteers do not incur too many out-of-pocket expenses.

Court involved youth rarely have a chance to experience ordinary childhood activities and celebrations. CASA volunteers are often one of the few adults who remember and celebrate a court involved youth’s birthday or major life events.. For that reason, gift cards to local stores (e.g. Target, Old Navy, Sports Basement, Ulta, etc) are greatly appreciated. Gift cards are especially needed around the holidays.

To donate more directly, please check out our Amazon Wish List. This list is updated seasonally, and reflects the immediate needs of the youth we are currently serving. All items purchased from our wish list are sent directly to our office, allowing you to make a change in a child’s life from the comfort of your own home.

Donation Guidelines

  1. All donated items must be new in box or with tags. Gently used books are acceptable.

  2. At this time, we are unable to accept food donations. However, gift cards that can be used for groceries (Safeway, VISA, Mastercard, etc.) are greatly appreciated.

  3. Before coming to the office, please reach out to Kassandra Lamphere at kassandra@casaofsanmateo.org to ensure that staff are available in the office to receive your donation.

For questions or further assistance with non-monetary donations, please contact Kassandra Lamphere at kassandra@casaofsanmateo.org.
